April-June and September-October are the most ideal periods for balloon tours, thanks to mild weather and clear skies.
Summer months (July-August) can be hot and crowded, but the long daylight hours let you explore more comfortably. In winter, the fairy chimneys under snow offer a unique view, though balloon tours may be cancelled more often due to weather conditions.
Whichever season you choose, we recommend booking your accommodation and tours in advance, especially during the high season (April-October).
